This program discusses the pharmacists’ role and impact in this work, reviews the services, provides medical billing and coding information, and shares insight into how to manage potential barriers that may arise. The second component of the Pharmacy-Based Test and Treat Certificate Training Program is an active learning session focusing on pharmacy practice implementation of point-of-care testing and diagnostic services. The Pharmacist and Patient-Centered Diabetes Care

Equipping pharmacists with knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide effective, evidence-based DM care for their patients. The Clinical Implementation of Continuous Glucose Monitoring in the Community Pharmacy Certificate Training Program is a complementary program that will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday following the diabetes program.

Expanding the role of pharmacy technicians by providing additional skills training to administer immunizations.

The Clinical Implementation of Continuous Glucose Monitoring in the Community Pharmacy Certificate Training Program

This program guides pharmacists through available CGM devices, best practices, and implementation of CGM-related services in their practice. The Pharmacist and Patient-Centered Diabetes Care Certificate Training Program will be held Friday morning from 8:00 am to noon with the CGM program following at 1:00 pm. Separate registrations required.

Explores the pharmacist’s role in providing travel health services to patients.

APhA’s Practical Approach to Sterile Compounding

Compounders unite! APhA’s core Health System and Compounding groups welcome you to a full day of live education that will provide continuing education credit for compounding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Pharmacists who are board certified in sterile compounding can also receive BPS recertification credit.

APhA is pleased to partner with MCW School of Pharmacy to offer an Advanced Physical Assessment certificate training program. Its purpose is to develop pharmacists in all areas of pharmacy practice and to prepare pharmacists with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to diagnose and provide direct patient care.
