During this presentation will discuss how historical traumas, institutional racism, and health disparities have severely affected Native Indigenous populations. Additionally, the presentation will provide a summary on current threats that disproportionally impact Native Indigenous communities. As pharmacist, it is imperative upon recognizing the significant value of developing trusted relationships with Native Indigenous communities in addition to be culturally aware of this unique population. In this session, will conclude with a framework of best practices to increase culturally responsible care.
