The 2023 APhA Federal Forum provides for Federal Pharmacy senior leaders to personally update meeting attendees about significant strategic initiatives, challenges faced and opportunities for collaboration for all branches of the United States Armed Forces, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Veterans Affairs and the United States Public Health Service. This session will provide an educational venue for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to hear directly from their chief pharmacy officers on current key issues and future plans that affect their individual organizations and how these issues/plans impact on their local pharmacy operations and patient care services. During this session, federal pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be informed on hot topic issue, strategic goals, joint and service specific initiatives, policies that are applicable to their pharmacy practice. The session will conclude with a a question-and-answer session and discussion with audience interaction with the federal pharmacy chiefs.
