This presentation will provide an overview immersive technology and highlight the explosive growth of immersive technology in healthcare for common conditions, such as pain management, mental health, and physical rehabilitation. The presentation will also describe and discuss the tremendous opportunities and roles available to pharmacists in this area. The session will continue with a discussion of the challenges and future opportunities for pharmacists to become actively engaged with immersive technology and its ability to impact patient outcomes, patient and clinician engagement, and clinical education and training. The session will conclude with an opportunity for audience Q&A with the presenters.
