Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. The impact on the practicing pharmacy team member as well as patient care may go unnoticed. This session will discussion the cultural practice of fasting and provide a deeper understanding of its spiritual roots, traditions, and impact on health and medications.
