Everyone can be a boss, but not everyone can be a leader. Peter Drucker, an influential thinker in management theory, once said, “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” Being a leader means to show humility and inspire their team to get real results and learning leadership skills are essential in order to optimize patient health care. This session will discuss different leadership styles and how to effectively apply various leadership skills.

Learning Objectives:

Identify different leadership types, styles, and skills.
Determine how to cultivate leadership within the pharmacy.
Discuss how to implement sustainable leadership practices and improve communication skills.
