Management  Workshop II: Beat Burnout, Boost Resilience

Description

Decreased productivity, increased risk of errors, job disengagement, declining mental health—burnout’s consequences pose a threat to pharmacists and their patients. In this workshop, an expert will cover the signs of burnout and why you need to immediately address these symptoms. You’ll learn about the importance of building a culture that facilitates communication and discover practical tools to improve personal resilience and team culture from the ground up.

Pharmacist Learning Objectives

At the completion of this application-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify signs and symptoms of burnout in your team members. 
  2. Discuss strategies to build a culture to prevent burnout.
  3. Discuss how to stay resilient and be prepared for difficult days. 
  4. Develop a communication plan to build awareness of burnout and keep staff motivated. 
  5. Select and prioritize small wins to demonstrate momentum.
