Counseling for Companion Animals: Veterinary Prescription Resources

Description

More pet owners are visiting community pharmacies to obtain their companions’ chronic and preventive medication. And while pharmacists must meet state-mandated patient counseling requirements for veterinary prescriptions, many lack confidence in practice.  This session presents veterinary drug resources and clinical pearls to support pharmacists in counseling these patients confidently and safely.
