59 1/2 Minutes: Culture, Competency, and Compassion for LGBTQ Patients

Description

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) patients often face barriers to care. That’s because health care providers aren’t always adequately trained to address their unique needs. Don’t miss this 59 ½  Minutes profile and facilitated discussion, where we explore the health disparities that disproportionally affect LGBTQ individuals. You’ll learn how to communicate in a safe, nonjudgmental way and create a welcoming care environment for all.
