What’s New in the World of Radionuclidic Generators?

The nuclear pharmacy community has used generator systems for decades. But recently, many new options have hit the market. During this session, you’ll see what these products have to offer and how they are changing the field. Experts who’ve implemented these tools in their pharmacies and practices will share their firsthand knowledge.

Pharmacist Learning Objectives

At the completion of this knowledge-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the differences among the available Ge-Ga generators including elution requirements and use restrictions.
  2. Recognize potential differences in preparing kits when comparing elutions from a traditional Tc-generator to the RadioGenix system.
  3. Distinguish the differences in general usage, shelf-life, and reporting requirements between the available Sr-Rb generators.
