Federal Pharmacy Forum: The Impact of Pharmacy Technicians on Immunization Delivery

Description

Expanding pharmacy technician practice is a crucial step towards pharmacist’s practicing at the peak of their licensure.  Pharmacy technician immunization delivery is a logical first step.  Pharmacy technicians are often respected members of the community, allowing them to develop rapport and trust with their patients.  Leveraging this patient-technician relationship with the accessibility of pharmacy technicians improves vaccination rates and increases job satisfaction.
