Federal Pharmacy Forum: Making an Impact in Patient Care: Igniting the Power of Leadership

Pharmacy operations are challenged to simultaneously improve quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. To improve these important metrics, effective pharmacy leaders at all levels of leadership must create a culture of trust. Presented by a prior military hospital Commanding Officer with years of pharmacy and health care leadership experience, this session looks beyond traditional health care models by exploring the approaches used by top-performing Fortune 500 companies, military units, and sports teams. Participants will discover practical and easily-employed behaviors that create a culture of exceptional trust which will ultimately improve patient care.
