APhA-ASP OTC Medicine Safety Workshop

Description

Through the OTC Medicine Safety campaign, student pharmacists can make a difference in the lives of 5th and 6th graders, as well as their parents and caregivers by educating them on the appropriate and safe use of OTC medications. In addition student pharmacists will be able to promote the role of the pharmacist on the healthcare team. Patient care project chairs and any students interested in becoming involved with APhA-ASP’s OTC Medicine Safety initiative at their chapter will gain insight into the goals of the program and learn how to successfully implement programming.
