When and where is APhA2018?
APhA2018 will be held in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The official dates are Friday, March 16-Monday, March 19, 2018. APhA Advanced Training Programs are scheduled for Thursday, March 23 and Friday, March 24. Check the Schedule at a Glance for preliminary information.
Where is the meeting located?
The core Educational programming, General Sessions, APhA and APhA-ASP House of Delegates, and Exposition take place at the Music City Convention Center. Meetings and networking events are held at both the Convention Center and Omni Nashville.
How many people will be at the conference?
The APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition attracts nearly 6,000 attendees each year.
What is the dress code?
Attire is business casual. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, and most importantly, comfortable shoes. We recommend dressing in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary. Visit weather.com for the forecast prior to travel.
Is there wireless access for APhA2018 attendees?
Complimentary wireless access will be available throughout the Convention Center.
Will there be family activities?
The Spouse/Guest registration fee is for non-pharmacist guests who wish to attend the Exposition, Opening Reception, and Closing Event. Continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits are not awarded to spouse/guest registrants. For assistance with area attractions, tours, or childcare, contact your hotel concierge.
How can I schedule an event?
Organizations must request an event through APhA via the Affiliate Scheduling Form. Space available for miscellaneous meetings will be split between the Music City Center and Omni Nashville.
How do I register?
Registration for APhA2018 opens in October.
When can I make my hotel reservation?
Housing for APhA2018 opens in October. APhA2018 offers guaranteed lowest rates. Rooms must be booked through Expovision, the official APhA2018 Hotel Reservation Office.

What education sessions are offered?

What is the maximum number of continuing pharmacy education credits I can receive at APhA2018?
APhA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE). Choose from many learning opportunities to increase your value and make big strides in your professional development—earning up to 20 hours of CPE credits in the process.
Will I be able to access the program on my mobile device?
Yes, the APhA2018 Mobile App provides access to sessions, events, and much more! The App will be available in February.
How can I present a poster?
The Contributed Papers program is open. The deadline is October 4.
